This Privacy Policy describes the information that we collect from you, how we collect this information, and what we do with it after we collect it. However, if you would no longer like to receive such e-mails, please refer to the “How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?” section below.
HOW WE PROTECT VISITOR INFORMATION
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
DO WE USE “COOKIES” AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like FireFox, Chrome or Safari) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.
HOW DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer Personal Information about you to outside parties unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include Artemis. Artemis shares Personal Information about you, including name, email address, location / zip code, items you have bought, order data such as shopping history, your path (sites from which you came to the Website), and information about your device with Artemis for marketing purposes. “Outside parties” also do not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
HOW CAN YOU OPT-OUT, REMOVE OR MODIFY INFORMATION YOU HAVE PROVIDED TO US?
To change your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “My Account” section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.
To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
THIRD PARTY LINKS
In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
SOCIAL NETWORK POSTING TOOLS AND “SHARE” FEATURES
Artemis offers social network posting and sharing tools through the Services, including a “share” button that allows you to post links to content and features that you believe will be of interest to others on your social network pages. Those tools are operated by third parties. When you use one of those sharing tools, the third-party company that operates the tool may be collecting information about your browser, device and online activity through its own tracking technologies and subject to its own, separate privacy policy.
LEGAL USES
We may disclose your Personal Information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including in response to any government or regulatory request; to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Artemis, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
GDPR DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
The EU General Data Protection Regulation provides certain rights for EU data subjects. You may decline to provide certain Personal Information to us, but, if you do so, you may not be able to use all of the features on the Site. We use your personal data pursuant to the following bases: with your consent, as necessary to provide services to you per our agreement, and as necessary for our legitimate interests in providing the services where those interests do not override your fundamental data privacy rights and freedoms. If you want us to update or delete your data, you can contact us at @privacy@artemisbiosolutions.com. We may require you to provide valid proof of identification. We will keep your Personal Information so long as reasonably necessary to provide the services on the Site to you, exercise the choices and rights you have requested, enforce our Terms of Service, comply with other contractual obligations, and comply with other legal obligations.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide Personal Information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once a calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2016 will receive information regarding 2015 sharing activities). To obtain this information on behalf of Artemis Bio-Solutions, Inc., please send an email message to privacy@artemisbiosolutions.com with “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line. We will provide the requested information to you at your email address in response. - Deny you goods or services;
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services;
